Uniware is pleased to announce that we have renewed our cyber security accreditations for 2022, including the ISO27001 (Information Security Management System), PCIDSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) as well as Cyber Essentials.
What are ISO27001, PCIDSS and Cyber Essentials?
The ISO27001 (Information Security Management System) and PCIDSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) are two rigorous standards widely recognised in the payment industry. Uniware maintains these accreditations and has annual external security audits into these standards conducted by UKAS and a PCI ASV (Approved Security Vendor).
Cyber Essentials is a simple but effective, Government backed scheme that will help organisations protect themselves and relevant stakeholders against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks.
What do these accreditations mean for our clients and their customers?
We have all the necessary cyber security measures in place
Clients can be reassured that we are working continually to secure and uphold our IT systems against cyber attack
We have a clear picture of our organisation's cyber security level
We are fully qualified for tender contracts that require a supplier to maintain high degree of independently audited Information Security

"In our current world, cyber security continues to be of utmost importance, especially in our payment and EPoS industry where client data security and that of their customers should always come first. We are pleased to have been re-awarded these certifications for 2022.”
