Uniware's client base includes a variety of businesses from a range of industries.

Wilson Vale, in charge of catering at the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) office catering facilities, sought an EPoS & Payments supplier who were experienced in EPoS, Payments & Loyalty for office-based environments. Uniware were delighted to be selected as the company’s supplier.

IHG joined Uniware in December 2016 when our solution was installed into two of their offices.

The project included installing:

  • 3 X Cielo Performance PoS Terminals

  • 1 X HP MX10 handheld with Retail jacket, docking station

  • 4 X VeriFone VX820 terminals, on Upay MID

  • 1 receipt printer

  • 1 cash drawer

As well as the hardware installed, 4 training sessions were held for both sites. Each site both had administration training and till training for their staff which covered all aspects of the Uniware Cloud back office and the PoS functionality.

The Uniware Cloud back office allows both sites to manage their own outlets individually. This means that both sites can manage their transactions, products and data separately whilst still providing the head office the ability to report on and monitor all locations in one place.

Some clients choose to set up their Uniware Cloud system in this way however clients can also scan choose to host all sites under one database and share all data if desired.

Typically, most sites under one customer share customer or card user data, yet the solution extends to full sharing, including the sharing of budget account data, products & price lists and till maps across clients' estates.
