Business Development Co-ordinators - Uniware Systems

Title: Business Development Co-ordinator

Reporting to: Managing Director

The role:
Adding strength to our telephone sales operation. New positions designed to increase sales activity within Uniware Systems to capitalise on the company’s growing name awareness and quality reputation in a large potential marketplace.

Skills:
Good communications skills, some sales skills and a proven track record of business development experience over a minimum of a two-year period. A good working knowledge of computers is essential for this role. A working knowledge of Excel, Word, email and Access telesales software is also required.

Essential:
The applicant will have a basic understanding of catering and retail point of sale operations, although training can be given.

Responsible for:
Researching markets and targets, generating mail shots, making follow up calls and confirming appointments for the Sales executives to visit potential clients and demonstrate Uniware products. Potential clients are usually Managing, Finance or IT Directors or Retail and Catering Managers. Developing group business contacts with consultants to the retail and catering IT business sectors will also form a part of this role.

Training:
In-house operations and external sales training will be provided to the successful applicant.

General:
This position is office based in Rochester, Kent.

Hours of work:
40 hours per week during normal business hours Monday to Friday. Would consider suitable part time candidates working mornings or afternoons only * 5 days per week.

Remuneration:
Salary commensurate with experience.
