Aston University - November 2005Uniware Systems are pleased to welcome Aston University to our rapidly growing Education client base. Using the UMIS software EPoS and Stock Control solution, IBM touch screen hardware. Uniware have interfaced with Kinetics Conferencing Solution in order to provide a seamless solution to the conference centres requirements. In addition to the EPoS and Kx interface Uniware have installed their integrated Chip & Pin EfT solution for credit and debit card payments. Biometrics launched - November 2005Uniware Systems launch their biometric cashless solution. This ground breaking technology allows the customer to now pay by touch using a biometric reader. As an alternative to the necessity for the customer to use a card this technology will drive the cost of a cashless system down. BP Canada Square - October 2005Uniware now operate all of BP Oil's staff restaurant sites in SE region. Canada Square offices have now been installed with the very latest IBM Redwood touch screen point of sale terminals for their cashless restaurant system.Soon to be installed is Xpress ordering linked to UMIS allowing payment as card holders pre-order lunch at the Deli bar. St Hilda's College Oxford - October 2005Uniware gains a further Oxford College. St Hilda's College award the contract for a cashless system for catering to Uniware Systems. Using latest IBM touch screen technology and the standard Oxford students card St Hildas College are upgrading their previous cash register system to UMIS. This latest gain in Oxford now makes Uniware the major EPoS and Cashless solution provider within the Oxford college community. This win comes as a result of the excellent client references given by other colleges using the Uniware solution in Oxford. Clinphone - September 2005Uniware installs cashless system with facilty for staff to order their lunches from remote terminals. Using latest IBM touch screen terminals and UMIS software and the Clinphone HID card staff are now able to order their lunch either for delivery or for collection. A major factor for this client was the benefit Uniware brings in not having to change their existing security card technology in order to implement a cashless system. Oriel College Oxford - July 2005Uniware have been awarded the contract to supply the cashless system for the college. Site will go live in August and includes fee payment and all catering purchases. Students will use the standard Oxford University card using magnetic stripe technology. Hardware will be IBM Surepos 500 Redwood terminals. Pinecone Associates - July 2005Uniware have appointed Pinecone Associates as a Value Added Reseller for the North West region of UK to operate in the education market in Schools. LBM Marketing - May 2005LBM Marketing based in Altringham have installed the UMIS cashless system at their head office site. The system allows LBM staff to make purchases in the restaurant and payment is deducted monthly from the company payrol system. Colchester Castle Museum - March 2005Following a successful reference visit to a number of Uniware clients we are pleased to add Colchester Castle Museums to our client list. ConocoPhillips Aberdeen - February 2005Adding to the existing sites in London and Warwick Uniware have been awarded the cashless system contract for ConocoPhillips new offices in Aberdeen. Regents College - February 2005Uniware wins contract to upgrade IBM 4695 PoS terminals to latest Surepos 500 Redwood technology. A long standing Uniware site since 1998 chosing to continue the relationship and upgrade all hardware to the new platform. Alnwick Gardens - January 2005Uniware are pleased to announce a contract gain at Alnwick Gardens. Details to follow. University of Reading ISMA Centre - January 2005The ISMA centre was the first site at University of Reading for Uniware in 1996. The Javelin terminals have now been replaced with latest IBM Redwood Surepos 500 equipment and Uniware look forward to the next 8 years of operation at Reading. Wildfowl Wetlands Wildlife Trust - January 2005Site no 3 goes live with the UMIS solution. WWT in Barnes now joins the Martin Mere and Slimbridge sites in the roll out. Orders now received for Arundel WWT site. University of Salford - January 2005Following a lengthy evaluation process Uniware are pleased to have been selected to replace the existing EPoS and Stock Control solution used throughout the University over the last 8 years. This is a major win for Uniware and confirms our continued investment within the University sector. Uniware now operates EPoS, Stock Control and Cashless in 28 University sites throughout the UK. St John's College Cambridge - December 2004Our first client in Cambridge now preparing to take on the latest IBM hardware in January 2005. A further vote of confidence for Uniware Systems following 6 years with previous IBM touch screen hardware. Taylor Wessing - December 2004UMIS has been installed in Taylor Wessing London office. This is to replace the Girovend system previously in use. Marlin Hopley Catering Manager is very pleased with the new system and now feels that she is able to control the catering operation using the UMISreporting capabilities. Jesus College Cambridge - December 2004Uniware have been operating at Jesus College Cambridge since 1998. This month they have decided to upgrade to the latest IBM Redwood Surepos Terminals and will be making use of the Cambridge wide new student card technology. University of Kent - December 2004University of Kent order additional IBM Surepos 500 terminals with Uniware Systems. Wattisham Airbase set to go live on 4th January 2005 with the UMIS system - December 2004Uniware Systems have installed an extensive system at the newly refurbished airbase. This solution linked to a SparPoS system allows all staff located at this base to make purchases throughout the airabase using a cashless card. Another Pay As You Dine initiative from Uniware Systems. Uniware launches U Pay - December 2004Providing clients with the facility to load value to their customers cashless accounts via a web browser, and or a simple SMS text message. This latest technology reduces the necessity to install wall mounted loaders. Giving your customers more choice in how and where to load their accounts will help to increase the usage of your restaurant facilities. University of Kent - September 2004University of Kent - Tyler Court new students accomodation block was fitted out with a new laundry room. Uniware extended the site wide cashless system to include all the washers and dryers in the laundry facility. University College of Wales - September 2004University College of Wales at Aberystwyth introduce on line cashless vending. Uniware recently added value to the cashless point of sale solution and installed their cashless vending system. Chip & Pin - September 2004EfT Update: Uniware releases Ocius Chip & Pin. Ocius Chip & Pin from Commidea allows both wireless and networked terminals to be connected to any Uniware approved point of sale terminal. Ocius provides us with a Chip & Pin platform that does not require several thousands of pounds to be wasted in costly bank approval testing on each site. Jorvik - August 2004Jorvik Centre in York place their order for a replacement of the current Bleep system with Uniware. Jorvik will be using the IBM Surepos 500 touch screen platform for their hardware. WWT - August 2004The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust WWT confirm Uniware as their supplier for a company wide EPoS & Stock control solution. Working across 9 sites throughout the UK. All sites will be installing IBM Surepos 500 touch screen technology Leeds Metropolitan University - July 2004Leeds Metropolitan University select Uniware to be the preferred supplier for a campus wide EPoS & Stock control solution. Using IBM Surepos 500 Redwood PoS terminals Leeds Met will be the flagship site for Uniware in the North with the latest IBM hardware. MIC Centre - March 2004MIC Centre in London select Uniware Systems for their refurbished catering and hospitality outlets. Card technology is Mifare and the system will be used for all members and students in the bar and restaurant areas. MIC chose to print their own cards on site and Uniware provided a card printer and software for this purpose. IBM Award - February 2004Uniware Systems are awarded a market growth achievement award for 2003 by IBM at the annual IBM RSS conference in Dallas. Gatwick Airport - January 2004UMIS replaces the Girovend / Counter Solutions cashless system at Gatwick Airport. This involved replacing 8 PoS terminals using IBM SurePoS 500 hardware and 5 loaders. We introduced 10,000 Mifare cards and went live with our value on card solution. Kings Fund - December 2003Kings Fund order the UMIS cashless solution. Using quality IBM Surepos 500 terminals the new system is to replace a Girovend solution. University of Reading - December 2003University of Reading go live in the newly created Dolce Vita restaurant with the UMIS solution. Using Epson SR600 touch screen terminals & Epson TMT88 thermal receipt printers. Lloyds of London - September 2003Lloyds of London goes live with the latest UMIS solution. Operating across a wide area network Uniware have replaced the previous Maas system. Using IBM Surepos 500 terminals and Commidea ICP for EfT transactions. This replaces the previously installed Maas cashless system. Royal College for the Blind - August 2003Royal College for the blind order the UMIS cashless system. The system will come with card printing facilities and uses the IBM Surepos 500 hardware platform. University of Kent - August 2003University of Kent order additional IBM Surepos 500 terminals with Uniware Systems. Girton College - August 2003Girton College Cambridge become the latest Cambridge College to take on the UMIS solution. Replacing the old Emos system with latest touch screen IBM Surepos 500 terminals across the entire estate. Pembroke College - August 2003Pembroke College Cambridge replace the Quintus system with the latest technology UMIS solution. A further Cambridge College using the IBM Surepos 500 touch screen hardware solution with their own cards. Nuffield - July 2003Nuffield Orthopedic Hospital go live with UMIS EPoS in Oxford. Weston Homes - July 2003Weston Homes install and go live with the UMIS Cashless solution for their multi tenanted offices. Weston Homes are using the IBM Surepos 500 hardware platform with their Mifare security card. The Ramsey School - June 2003The Ramsey School and Hugh Christi Technology College have confirmed orders with Uniware Systems to install the UMIS Cashless system. Both Schools are using the IBM Surepos 500 hardware platform. Conoco - May 2003Conoco proceed with a further cashless installation in their Warwick offices. The card technology is Mifare and card holders will now be able to travel between offices and use their security card on a number of sites. St Andrews Hospital - February 2003St Andrews Hospital open their new restaurant facilities. A fully cashless restaurant for staff and visitors is to open in May. The system will be linked to the current security card and will be used by approximately 3000 regular staff and 500 visitors. Uniware provided an innovative solution for the client utilising an existing card against the competitions requirements to replace the card with alternative technology. Alleyn's School - February 2003Alleyn's School award Uniware Systems their contract for a cashless system for students and staff. The new system replaces an existing Girovend system and will be using IBM Surepos touchscreen PoS terminals and a Mifare card for identification. RNAS Culdrose - PAYD - September 2002Pay as you dine scheme installed at RNAS Culdrose. Aramark the caterer on site chose the UMIS Point of Sale solution to meet the customers on site needs. Personnel at RNAS Culdrose are now able to pay for all catering, bar and shop purchases through a card system linked directly to their bank accounts. Monthly bills are produced and funds direct debited from their account. Interface work is shortly to commence to bring the Sparpos system into a direct connection with the UMIS system. Courtauld Institute Gallery - October 2002Courtauld Institute Gallery - London choose the UMIS Retail Point of Sale system for their London Gallery, installation in October 2002. Courtauld Institute Gallery - London Ormesby Community School - July 2002Ormesby Community School installed the UMIS cashless system in July 2002. Conoco - September 2002Conoco order the UMIS cashless system for their new offices in London. Esso - August 2002Esso at Fawley Refinery install the UMIS point of sale system, using the Metro cashless Mifare card. Torquay Community College - June 2002Torquay Community College installed the UMIS cashless system in June 2002. They went live for the last 2 weeks of the summer term in preparation for the new intake in September. Brayton College - September 2002Brayton College goes live with the UMIS cashless system for Schools. Imperial College - May 2002Imperial College award the contract to Uniware for the supply of the food and beverage control system. Operating 26 point of sale terminals across London based sites. ICI - February 2002UMIS goes live at ICI. Uniware developed an interface to allow ICI to utilise their existing B&P security card with the cashless system. Uniware was selected because they were prepared to develop the interface to enable the customer to use their existing card. National Museums & Galleries of Wales - April 2002National Galleries and Museums of Wales opened over the Easter weekend with the UMIS system across 2 sites linked over a wide area network. Clare College - July 2002Clare College Cambridge award their contract for a cashless system to Uniware Systems. The new system goes live in July and will replace their existing Girovend system. Clare College. Nationwide - April 2002The Nationwide have awarded their contract for a 17 terminal point of sale system to Uniware Systems. The new system is on a short lead time with new facilities opening on 8th April 2002. Uniware are providing an IBM Surepos 500 hardware solution using the UMIS software for back office and point of sale. |
